Warts can occur all over and come in different guises:
- Flat: verruca plantar warts
- Raised: typical warts
- Buried: plantar warts
All being caused by different members of the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) Family.
Some children, especially with allergies or eczema, are more susceptible and can get multiple. They are most often contracted via water (swimming pools, baths).
There are lots of home cures from banana peel to onions and nail polish to duct tape. The most effective therapies use some form of chemical, temperature and elective cautery.
